I assume my homework is to read every stitch of writing about tuva. At the risk of spoiling my surprise, I will comply. This is very encouraging as I see myself like that guy who can make it so that when I say I am in Tuva in 2005 for five straight years in a row I guess I am that guy. For the world and my dad to know. I have exercised my body up to a lean 68 kilos of fine tuned muscle bone and fat. I have trained as if for a journey to the moon. my mind and my body are as close to one as I have ever been in my life since I was 16. I am physically as prepared for the unknown as I could imagine and this is only the beginning. So be aware. I am going to enjoy this trip holding nothing back. I'm a little tired of holding back. On this trip I expect to ride like the devils left hand one night and then patiently sit and listen to another culture speak to me the next day. I also expect to answer questions. I will not offer information without being asked. This is a personal quirk. I just get the feeling that there is little to contribute to Tuvan culture. What little there is, I intend to contribute respectfully. Why am I on "tippy-toes" with Tuvan culture? It's the throat singing. I feel it is the most unspeakably different sound in the world. Now you know.
